Pete Basford, Realtor - Coldwell Banker Lingle

After being born in Guatemala in 1999, Pete was adopted just six months later and brought to the United States where he grew up in Centerville, IN. He began his career as a Realtor with Coldwell Banker Lingle in March of 2023. After an eye-opening conversation with a previous CBL Office Manager, he realized this was the career for him. Pete told us; “Our office has such a great environment with so many professional coworkers. Having my office right next to Paul Lingle’s is amazing. He’s always willing to help and give advice. CBL even offers classes and programs to help us grow and succeed.”
When asked about the downtown area, he added; “Richmond’s downtown offers so much and it has a lot of potential for more. There are so many awesome small businesses and events that take place.”

Outside of work, Pete enjoys stand-up comedy, exercising, golf, and spending time with friends and family. He is also part of a launch team at Sparrow Heights, a brand-new church located in Muncie, IN, where he assists in leading the Jr. High-High School level of youth ministry. This new church is a branch of the Quaker/Christian churches where his father has been a pastor for many years.
