Position Description
Title: Administrative Assistant and Main Street Resource Center Manager
Status: Part-time, contract
Hours: Not to exceed 15 hours per week
Position Summary:
Main Street Richmond is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to serve as a Part-Time Administrative Assistant & Resource Center Manager. This role will be responsible for administrative support, tenant relations, and the daily management of the Main Street Resource Center. The ideal candidate is proactive, reliable, and customer-service focused.
Key Responsibilities:
Tenant & Lease Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective temporary and permanent tenants.
Showcase available space, prepare space for new tenants, manage lease agreements, and collect payments.
Inform tenants of building policies and procedures.
Manage ongoing communication and relationships with permanent tenants.
Ensure exterior walkways are salted and shoveled in winter months.
Building Operations & Security:
Collect and sort incoming mail daily.
Manage building access and oversee the security system.
Monitor cleaning and maintenance needs, referring issues to the appropriate personnel for resolution.
Facility & Display Management:
Maintain seasonal interior and exterior displays to enhance the Resource Center’s appearance.
Ensure the space remains welcoming, organized, and functional for visitors and tenants.
Qualifications & Skills:
Strong organizational and administrative skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Ability to work independently and problem-solve.
Basic understanding of lease agreements and facility management is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and email communication.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and manage light physical tasks as needed.
